Simply Slovenia book
Shirlie’s latest project, the book and cd Simply Slovenia/Preprosto Slovenija is a creative co-operation between England and Slovenia, with top Slovene photographer Bogdan Kladnik’s beautiful photography, Shirlie’s written reflections on her sixteen years’ journey through Slovenia, plus a cd of her Slovene-inspired songs including some new pieces specially arranged and produced by Slovenia’s brilliant Tomaz Kozlevcar. Simply Slovenia/Preprosto Slovenija for Shirlie has been a culmination of years of travelling between two countries and two cultures, but feeling completely at home in both.
